2023 Fun, Friends, & Family Road Trip

After a few-year hiatus from big road trips, we took off across country. It was the longest road trip either of us had ever taken—23 days and 6,400 miles across the southern US, up the California coast, and back across mid-America. It included stops in Atlanta, Birmingham, Fairhope, AL, Houston, Phoenix, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Lake Tahoe, and Nashville. We saw six sets of friends and six sets of family, plus lots of great nature and adventure spots all along the way. Merri had never really seen California, and we enjoyed eight days in the state.
