Roof Sheathing, Windows, and Gravel Backfill
Taking shape! In the past couple of weeks, all the roof sheathing panels were applied (a huge project like designing, constructing, and assembling a giant jigsaw puzzle), the windows and exterior doors were installed, and the chasm between the front door and the undisturbed ground at the front of the house was filled and filled and filled with gravel. What, at times, looked like a caravan of dumptrucks brought eight loads. Backfill at the front door had to be of gravel to provide a stable base for the concrete driveway turnaround and sidewalk. Gravel infill is also now in place for pouring the garage slab this coming week.
This 4-minute video follows the progress.
